Lolol ambient music am i rite?
But, sometimes its nice to kick back in the late night, when everyone is asleep, light up perhaps, headphones on and listen to some good ol' ambient music.
Now I ain't talking about one tone drones with a bit of up and down,
I'm talking bout shit like this;

Amiina - Hilli

Amiina - Seoul
The ladies from Sigur Ros create the most awesome and mind-calming songs that you'll literally just sink into your chair or even block out a noisy street.
Here's one of their albums; Kurr:

Wait, what are you doing? Listening to it from your laptop speakers? What the fuck. Don't even try. Jesus, just get out.
Now the problem with ambient music is that people say most of it sounds the same, and it's true.
But you do get some gems like Amiina - some more of their stuff is on youtube. But then again they aren't really classified as ambient, but hell fuck you and your genre classifications, right? high five.
What else we got?
Welp, scrolling through the various artists in Wise Owl Records (Andrew's on there too), I came across this guy called Ben Woods, and hell, he creates just as good shit. Lemme find a link.
At the moment I've only listened to one of his albums: Moments. And its great, tracks flow from one to another seamlessly like some sort of ambience...seriously!
WHOA.
Well here's a link to all his albums, free.
Yep, for free: http://www.wiseowlrecords.com/artists/view/1
I'm gonna give his other few a shot, when I have the time.
Haha who am I kidding, I have all the time in the world.
Other people to check out;
Benn Jordan - Think I mentioned him in another thread
Balmorhea - their River Arms album.
Riceboy Sleeps
Enjoy, and share alike please. Time for bed.
