So I'm looking around Tom Lee with andrew today, and saw this sweet , light looking arch top from Godin - a canadian guitar make. I've tried to look up reviews to see what people think about it / if it's value for money. most have been good so far.
Here's a couplee vids. THe woman reviewer is abit of a fucking tard. but she plays it alright.
Whatdya guys think?

I should have tried it out today..
From what I gathered a good jazz guitar. And what I learn from buying a jazz guitar, it does jazz really well but that’s really all it does. And by the looks of things, this guitar is as jazzy as it gets.
It sounds wonderful acoustically. That for me is one of the most important plus of a hollow body, because not only does it tell a lot about the wood and how it affects the amp sound, but also because you can just record it by itself. Yours eli second guitar part that sounds like a harp is actually a 70 yr old limited edition hagstorm arch top, never been played until my friend alex bought it. I swear, to this day it is still the best guitar I ever played…
Back to its versatility. My guess is, its not, but that wont be a big problem for you as a player.
The guitar only has one P90, and p90s are what you find on the McCartney epi casino. Their sound really sits between the humbucker and single coil, so it has warmth and clarity. However, because there is only one for them on this guitar there is no bridge tweed pick up, and your options are limited when if you want to put a bit of gain on.
But like I said, you don’t play metal, and the clean is beautiful on this.
I have not but good things to say about godin. Actually, that’s not true. Their acoustics are fucking amazing, (I own one), they make them in Quebec and for the price they charge them for its unbeatable. It stands its own ground even with a high end martin.
But ive played one of their electrics, fuck me it was horrible. The tuning pegs where all fucked up, the design wasn’t usable at all. So check the hardware before you buy. You don’t want to have a hard a time as I do with my jag when it comes to changing strings… great guitar but retarded pegs.. fuck fender
